Frequently asked questions about MargenIQ

Answers about Recruitment, Management, and signing up for MargenIQ, software for TikTok LIVE agencies.

General

What is MargenIQ?

MargenIQ is software for TikTok LIVE agencies with two tools: Recruitment, which finds creators, checks their availability in Backstage, and automates first contact; and Management, which calculates bonuses and settlements and shows the agency’s profitability.

Can the tools be purchased separately?

Yes. MargenIQ Recruitment and MargenIQ Management are available separately or together in the bundle, which includes both for $449/month + tax.

Is MargenIQ affiliated with TikTok?

No. MargenIQ is independent software and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TikTok.

Recruitment

Is Recruitment available on a weekly plan?

Yes. In addition to the $349 monthly plan, there is a weekly plan at $120/week. Both exclude tax.

Is the AI required?

No. AI conversations are optional and use AI responses. MargenIQ Recruitment includes 50 free responses, and more are available in packs of 1,500, 5,000, or 20,000.

Does Recruitment accept creators into the agency?

No. The tool finds, checks, and contacts creators; the agency itself always accepts each creator in Backstage.

What does the desktop app require?

A Windows computer that stays on, connected to the internet, and signed in to Backstage. All the work is supervised from the web dashboard.

Can several managers work at the same time?

Yes. Each creator is assigned to whoever found or imported them, and only that person messages them, so there is no overlap within the team.

Management

Where does Management get its data?

From the XLS the agency downloads from TikTok Backstage every day. Figures are shown in US dollars, the currency TikTok uses to pay agencies.

Does it replace the agency’s settlement spreadsheet?

Yes, for the calculation: settlements are generated with the official bonus rules and exported to Excel and PDF. The agency no longer maintains formulas by hand or rebuilds the month at month-end.

Where do the radar figures come from?

From the same engine that calculates settlements, applied to the day’s data. They show what the agency would earn if the creator meets the requirement still missing. It is an opportunity cost, not an amount TikTok owes.

How are mid-month joins handled?

Activity thresholds are automatically prorated by the days the creator has been with the agency, including the validity threshold. The starting rank the creator joins with—the one held before joining—is not in the daily export: it is recorded from the creator’s profile, with its date and author.

Can managers see the figures for the whole agency?

No. Each manager sees their own creators, their radar, and their own settlement. Directors see everything. A group leader also sees the managers who report to them.

Where is the data stored, and who can access it?

On a dedicated server in the European Union (France). Only the agency’s users can access it, according to their role. The subprocessors are published, and the data processing agreement (DPA) is part of the terms.

Can all the data be exported if the agency leaves?

Yes. Settlements and the radar can be exported at any time, and the published data portability policy describes how to obtain the full history.

What happens if TikTok changes the bonus rules?

The bonus tables and the day and hour thresholds are configured per agency and per period. A change applies from the current month, and earlier months continue to be calculated with the rules they had.
